Compensation:
$100,000
  • 300,000 (base salary + uncapped commission)

In-person; based out of Richmond, KY, with regular travel throughout Southeast Ohio, Northeast Kentucky, and Western West Virginia territory and in-person customer visits. Kentucky Machinery Company LLC Since 2013, Kentucky Machinery Company LLC has specialized in heavy equipment rental and sales, offering a strong inventory of late-model equipment and a reputation for building long-term customer relationships through dependable equipment and responsive service. Our headquarters is located in Richmond, Kentucy, just off I-75. We are an authorized dealer for Prinoth equipment. We are seeking a self-driven sales professional who understands the heavy equipment industry, enjoys working directly with contractors and operators, and knows how to build long-term relationships that lead to repeat business. If you live in Central Kentucky, Northeast Kentucky or Southeast Ohio and have a proven background in heavy equipment sales or rentals, this is a strong opportunity to take ownership of a high-potential territory and grow your earnings with a respected equipment company. Key Responsibilities
  • Own and grow the tri-state territory across Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia by developing new business and expanding existing accounts
  • Identify customer opportunities and close deals by using your industry knowledge, field experience, and relationships
  • Visit job sites to evaluate customer needs, demonstrate equipment, and recommend the right solutions for the application
  • Prepare quotes and bids
  • Negotiate and close rental and equipment sales agreements with owners, operations leaders, and project teams
  • Work closely with leadership and internal teams to shape territory strategy and drive profitable growth
  • Maintain a disciplined calling cadence with timely follow-up, strong pipeline management, and detailed call reporting
  • Partner with parts, service, and operations teams to deliver excellent customer support before and after the sale
  • Travel throughout the territory to stay visible with customers, support active projects, and uncover new opportunities Requirements
  • 2+ years of heavy equipment sales experience (
  • Hands-on experience in heavy equipment rental, construction equipment, or a closely related industry
  • Ability to speak confidently about technical applications and perform equipment demonstrations
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and organized, with the ability to manage your own schedule and territory effectively
  • Strong lead management, follow-up discipline, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of related industry experience in heavy equipment sales, rentals, or construction equipment
  • Established customer relationships in the Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia tri-state market Compensation & Benefits Base salary $65,000-85,000/Yr + uncapped commission
  • Target earning potential: $100,000
