This role is based out of our Lafayette office and focuses on developing strong customer relationships while expanding sales of PPM product lines and introducing Federal Steel Supply offerings. This is a relationship-driven, field-based role for someone who is comfortable managing accounts, building new business, and spending time face-to-face with customers. Position Overview We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative who can manage existing customer relationships while also helping grow new business. This role is a mix of account management and sales development, and it works best for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You will be a key point of contact for customers, helping them get what they need quickly and accurately while identifying opportunities to expand business. What You'll Do Manage and grow a defined Louisiana sales territory Build relationships with key accounts and identify new business opportunities; including entertaining key accounts Develop and execute a sales strategy in partnership with leadership Conduct regular customer visits and track progress with accounts and prospects Collaborate closely with the inside sales team on quotes, orders, and follow-up Support new business development efforts alongside Federal Steel leadership Maintain organized reporting, including weekly expense tracking Report on personal sales visits and the progess that is being made with all accounts and prospects Represent the company at customer events, industry functions, and networking opportunities What We're Looking For Experience in outside sales, preferably in PVF, steel, or industrial distribution Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills Ability to manage a territory and work independently Organized and proactive with follow-up and reporting Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams overnight travel is required Compensation & Benefits Base salary plus commission Medical insurance 401(k) Car allowance
