Job Description
Sales/Design Consultant We are seeking a talented and results-driven individual to join our Doerr Furniture family of highly creative sales professionals. This dynamic self-starter should have a passion for sales and an eye for design to assist our clients in creating the perfect home for their lifestyle. Responsibilities Must treat all people with the highest level of professionalism Displays a team player attitude towards staff and management Meets and exceeds monthly sales goals Responsible for achieving acceptable monthly closing ratio Will attend meetings and training & product knowledge sessions with vendor representatives Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of his assigned area of the sales floor Maintain a professional appearance Will assist in marking tags and price changes on the sales floor whenever requested Identifying and expanding client necessities in order to generate increased business opportunities Maintains accurate and up to date client development file for current and future customer follow-ups Will maintain a follow-up file on customers for purposes of developing and maintaining individualized customer service relationships, information on customer requested furniture, thank you notes, etc. Requirements Previous sales experience - Furniture experience preferred Prioritizing and time-management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to ascertain client needs Ability to explain comprehensive features and benefits of products Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401K Paid Vacation Employee Discount Guaranteed bi-weekly draw plus comission earned
