We are seeking a motivated, personable and detail-oriented sales consultant to join our decorative hardware team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining design, problem solving, and relationship based sales in a professional client facing environment. You will guide customers through selecting door and cabinet hardware that balances function, aesthetics, and project requirements. The proper candidate is organized, confident with clients, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist showroom clients with selecting the proper door and cabinet hardware for their needs. Educate clients on product features, finishes, and installation options (previous experience or interest in the hardware field is ideal but we will also teach and assist you) Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system Manage incoming phone and email inquiries professionally Provide order updates, tracking information, and proactive customer follow up Coordinate closely with team members to ensure accurate ordering and fulfillment Resolve customer concerns calmy and professionally while maintaining strong relationships

Qualifications:

Previous retail, showroom, or consultative sales experience preferred Interest in interior design, architecture, construction, or home improvement strongly valued Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Highly organized with a strong attention to detail Basic computer proficiency for operating the sales system Professional, positive, and team oriented attitude Hardware industry knowledge is a plus - training will be provided for motivated candidates
