Job Description

Business Development / Sales Representative - Restoration Services South Coast & Cape Cod (Southeastern Massachusetts) Full-Time | Outside Sales Position Disaster Specialists is hiring a Business Development / Sales Representative to help grow referral relationships and generate new business throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod. This is a true outside sales and business development role.
You will be expected to:
Prospect for new business Develop a territory to build a referral partner and client network Schedule and conduct Solutions and Kickoff meetings Farm existing accounts once established Help grow revenue over time At the same time, this is not a high-pressure "boiler room" sales environment. The company is looking for someone who is: Personable, patient and persistent relationship-oriented confident meeting new people comfortable networking and opening doors willing to learn and follow a proven process Understanding our industry and specific value propositions will be trained The personality, professionalism, consistency, and ability to connect with people matter most. What You'll Be Doing Conduct face-to-face prospecting throughout the territory Build relationships with: Property and facility managers Insurance agents Plumbing and HVAC companies Contractors and commercial facilities Business owners and referral partners Help expand the company's visibility and presence throughout the market Generate and schedule Solutions meetings Maintain territory activity and relationship follow-up within CRM Attend networking events, chamber meetings, and industry functions Work closely with operations leadership to convert opportunities into business relationships What Success Looks Like This role is measured through: Consistent territory activity New referral and client relationships developed Meetings scheduled and completed Opportunities created Long-term business / revenue growth within the territory This is a farming and relationship-development role more than a transactional closing role. Backgrounds that may translate well include: B2B Outside sales.
