Job Description

Plastixs, LLC, a distributor and manufacturer of high quality, high value products for the plastics industry, and other industrial and commercial applications seeks a self-motivated Inside Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will possess technical and/or industrial sales experience, have experience with AI or a and or a keen interest in AI and how it can help business grow, and have the proven ability to work as a collaborative team player in a small and busy office environment. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager but will work extensively and collaboratively with engineering, production, and order-taking departments.
  • Follow up on customer leads and source new sales through telephone, email, and website.
  • Continually cultivate, build rapport and maintain positive, professional, and productive client relationships.
  • Work diligently to understand customer needs and requirements through questioning techniques.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in products and services.
  • Research, discover and implement methods to increase customer engagement.
  • Analyze customer retention, attrition, and trends and identify complete requested reports regularly.
  • Maintain accurately and expand database of prospects.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the Sales Manager for further development and closure.
  • Set and track sales targets.
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
  • Assist customers by placing orders and quote projects.
  • Follow up on leads and open quotes.
  • Utilize AI in day-to-day activities to enhance business opportunities and enhance productivity.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate and/or complete sales projects as needed.
  • Assist in sales analysis and preparing sales reports.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed. Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Industrial / Technical sales.
  • Expertise with related software including HubSpot and Salesforce.com.
  • Proven experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable.
  • Experience with AI or keen interest in using AI to enhance productivity.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and follow up skills.
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Personable with great customer service skills to interface with customers, vendors, sales, and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed.
Ability to keep management informed by summarizing activities; identifying trends and issues. A team player, alert and eager, with the ability to multi-task and lead when necessary. Excellent salary plus commissions and excellent benefits package www.plastixs.com
