In this dynamic role, you will lead our dog grooming and pet salon operations, driving sales growth while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Your enthusiasm for animals, combined with your leadership skills, will inspire your team to deliver top-tier grooming services and foster lasting relationships with pet owners. Responsibilities Lead daily salon operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality grooming services. Drive sales by engaging with customers, promoting grooming packages, and upselling products and services. Provide expert guidance on dog handling, grooming techniques, and animal restraint to team members. Train and mentor staff on pet care best practices, customer service excellence, and safety protocols. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pets and clients alike. Collaborate with veterinary professionals when needed to support pets' health and well-being. Manage appointment scheduling, client communication, and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in pet grooming, dog training, or animal handling roles. Background in veterinary technician or assistant work, with knowledge of veterinary procedures preferred. Strong understanding of animal care practices including pet sitting, kennel experience, and pet grooming. Ability to handle dogs safely using animal restraint techniques; experience with heavy lifting is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Familiarity with veterinary experience or equine experience is advantageous but not required. Passion for animals and commitment to providing compassionate care in a team-oriented environment.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
