Job Description

Overview The Sales Associate is responsible for promoting, selling, and coordinating weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, business meetings and other private events. This role includes managing inquiries, conducting venue tours, preparing proposals and contracts, and ensuring seamless event execution by overseeing wedding rehearsals and client communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to wedding and event inquiries via phone, email, or in person. Identify and pursue new market opportunities to increase corporate as well as event sales. Conduct venue tours and consultations with prospective clients. Create customized event proposals and contracts in line with venue policies and pricing. Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their vision and expectations are met. Coordinate event details with the culinary, service, and management teams. Oversee and direct wedding rehearsals to ensure all parties understand event flow and logistics. Maintain organized records of bookings, payments, and event details. Follow up with clients post-event to ensure satisfaction and encourage future business or referrals. Assist in marketing efforts for weddings and private events, including participation in bridal shows or open houses. Stay knowledgeable of venue offerings, packages, and policies. Support other sales and event operations as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in event sales, wedding planning, hospitality, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be self motivated. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple clients simultaneously. Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings and weekends as needed for events and rehearsals. Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during tours and rehearsals. May require occasional lifting or moving of event materials.
