$50,000-$70,000+ (Base Salary + Commission) About Tri-State Hospitality Tri-State Hospitality is a trusted provider of linen rental, laundry services, uniforms, aprons, towels, mats, and related hospitality support services for restaurants, hotels, country clubs, healthcare organizations, event venues, and commercial businesses throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated Business Development Representative to help expand our client base and strengthen relationships within the hospitality industry. Position Overview This is a true outside sales and business development role focused on identifying new opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, and generating new business throughout the region. The ideal candidate is comfortable prospecting, making cold calls, visiting businesses in person, conducting needs assessments, and presenting solutions that improve operational efficiency while reducing costs for customers. Hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities within restaurants, hotels, hospitality groups, country clubs, healthcare facilities, and commercial organizations. Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email campaigns, networking, referrals, and in-person visits. Schedule and conduct meetings with General Managers, Food & Beverage Directors, Executive Chefs, Housekeeping Managers, Purchasing Managers, and business owners. Perform site visits to evaluate customer needs and gather information necessary for proposals. Prepare and present customized service proposals. Maintain an active sales pipeline and document activities within company systems. Follow up consistently with prospects and existing customers. Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions when appropriate. Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients. Represent Tri-State Hospitality with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing experience. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively. Comfortable with cold calling and face-to-face prospecting. Professional appearance and presentation skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling business-to-business (B2B) services. Hospitality, restaurant, hotel, food service, laundry, uniform, or linen industry experience. Existing network within the hospitality industry. Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
