The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive lead management, customer engagement, appointment setting, and follow-up processes. This individual must be passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring that every lead is handled promptly, professionally, and consistently throughout the sales cycle. This position requires a strong leader who can handle leads, process improvement, and measure results. Experience with CRM systems and lead management best practices is essential. Knowledge of Focus CRM is a plus but not required. Key Responsibilities Focus on lead conversion and appointment generation. Create, implement, monitor, and continuously improve all internet and BDC lead-handling processes. Ensure all incoming leads receive immediate, professional, and personalized responses across phone, email, text, and chat channels. Drive appointment-setting performance and improve show rates through effective follow-up strategies. Monitor lead activity daily to ensure no opportunities are missed and that all prospects receive consistent communication. Oversee CRM utilization, data integrity, workflow compliance, and customer follow-up activities. Establish accountability standards for lead response times, follow-up frequency, and appointment conversion metrics. Train team members on best practices for customer engagement, objection handling, and relationship building. Analyze lead sources, conversion rates, appointment metrics, and closing ratios to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and execute long-term customer follow-up campaigns to maximize sales opportunities. Collaborate closely with sales management to ensure a seamless transition from lead to showroom appointment and vehicle delivery. Monitor third-party lead providers and phone vendors to ensure maximum performance and return on investment. Prepare and present regular reports on BDC performance, lead trends, response times, appointment activity, and sales results. Requirements Previous Automotive Internet/BDC experience required. Proven success managing high lead volumes and driving appointment-to-sale conversions. Strong understanding of CRM systems, lead management, and customer follow-up processes. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding leadership, coaching, and team development abilities. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Highly analytical with the ability to track performance metrics and identify growth opportunities. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
