Job Summary:
Sales Representative The Sales Representative is a full-cycle sales professional responsible for driving revenue growth through equipment sales, service sales, and long-term account management. This role requires ownership of existing customer relationships, proactive development of service-based revenue, and strategic capital planning support. The Sales Representative will manage assigned accounts, identify opportunities for preventive maintenance services, chute cleaning services, and capital equipment upgrades, while serving as a trusted advisor to customers. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, consultative selling abilities, and a commitment to long-term customer success. Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Execute sales strategies aligned with overall business goals. Prospect new customers and develop opportunities through outbound outreach and inbound lead follow-up. Lead customer meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, and solution presentations. Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and sales documentation. Negotiate pricing and terms in coordination with leadership as needed. Service Sales Development Proactively identify and grow service revenue opportunities, including: Preventive maintenance service agreements Chute cleaning services Aftermarket and service-related offerings Educate customers on the value of recurring service programs to improve uptime, safety, and equipment life. Collaborate with service and operations teams to scope, quote, and deliver service solutions. Account Management & Customer Retention Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention. Conduct annual customer reviews and follow-ups to assess performance, service needs, and future opportunities. Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships built on trust and responsiveness. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, coordinating internally to resolve issues and support customers. Capital Planning & Strategic Support Assist customers with capital planning, including identifying future equipment needs and budget cycles. Provide consultative guidance on phased upgrades, replacements, and long-term operational improvements. Track upcoming capital projects and align solutions with customer timelines and financial objectives. Sales Operations & Reporting Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within CRM systems. Support monthly forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting activities. Stay informed on industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. 0-3 years experience in sales, account management, or business development (industry experience plus). Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities independently. Consultative mindset with a focus on long-term customer value. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems. Valid driver's license and ability to travel for customer visits. Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
