Company Description Elite Wine Imports is a specialized wine importer dedicated to sourcing high-quality wines from respected producers around the world. Role Description Elite Wines of Maryland, Inc. is seeking a sales professional to be part of its MD team, with a concentration in Frederick, Northern Montgomery County, and Western Howard County. Our sales representative will be tasked with building new business in this area by conducting daily, in-person visits to accounts, weekly evening & weekend events, and consistent communication via phone and email. You will manage your sales territory with guidance, collaboration and management from the Maryland Sales Manager. Qualifications Proven sales skills, including territory management, account development, and closing techniques. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities for engaging a variety of on-premise and off-premise clients. Basic business and analytical skills, including the ability to manage pipelines, track performance metrics, and use sales tools. Organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to plan daily routes, prioritize accounts, and meet deadlines. Knowledge of AND a genuine interest in wine, including willingness to learn about regions, varietals, and food pairings. Comfort with in-person client visits and events, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to work on-site in and around Montgomery County, Frederick and Howard County. Previous experience in wine, beverage, and/or hospitality is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or hospitality is a plus.
