Lancaster, Chester, and Berks County Pennsylvania Who We Are At YorkHoist, we don't just build and service cranes—we lift people, too. As a third-generation family-owned business, we've spent decades fostering a culture of care, respect, and relentless pursuit of excellence. About the Role The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) role is one of the most dynamic, challenging, and rewarding positions within our organization. It is a fast-paced environment where self-starters thrive, proven sales leaders excel, and individuals with strong mechanical aptitude stand out. Unlike transactional sales roles, our business requires patience, persistence, and commitment—sales cycles are long, projects are complex, and instant gratification is rare. Success in this position comes from building trust, investing in relationships, and seeing projects through from the first conversation to successful completion. TSRs must be highly motivated, resilient under pressure, and eager to represent our company's reputation in every client interaction. Our TSRs serve as the face of our company in the field, managing and expanding relationships with existing accounts while actively prospecting for new business. This includes in-person cold calling, responding to online and manufacturer-provided leads, and identifying opportunities across their assigned territory. Beyond selling, TSRs are hands-on in scoping and specifying projects, ensuring a seamless turnover of installation projects to our operations teams, and participating in sales blitzes, trade shows, and manufacturer training sessions. The role demands equal parts relationship-builder, technical problem-solver, and strategic partner, with a clear expectation to drive long-term growth while upholding the highest standards of client service.
