This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role with flexibility, purpose, and weekly commissions that reward consistent effort. Your Day-To-Day as a Business Development Representative Engage local business owners, managers, and commercial decision-makers to introduce service solutions Start professional, consultative conversations around lowering operational costs and improving efficiency Generate and qualify B2B leads by gathering contact details and identifying business needs Schedule follow-up calls, meetings, or consultations with interested businesses Conduct light needs assessments to understand business size, current providers, and potential savings Follow up via phone, email, or in-person visits to advance prospects through the sales process Collaborate closely with the internal B2B sales team to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified opportunities Participate in or help organize business networking events, trade shows, and informational sessions Track outreach activity including contacts made, leads generated, and appointments set to meet weekly and monthly goals Qualities We're After in a Business Development Representative Comfortable speaking with business professionals and decision-makers Able to clearly explain service options and cost-saving benefits Confident with direct outreach, networking, and professional relationship-building Self-motivated and comfortable working independently Organized with follow-ups, lead tracking, and time management Comfortable using basic technology such as a smartphone, email, and simple CRM tools Work Perks Weekly commission-based pay (your outreach = your results) Local travel and the opportunity to meet professionals across your community Training and support to help you engage confidently A friendly team that celebrates wins together — because success is sweeter with teammates in your corner
