Job Description

Thayer, LLC is seeking a full-time HVAC Project Sales Representative to support our commercial HVAC/R and building services projects across New England. This role combines sales, project management, customer service, and technical problem-solving. Responsibilities include building customer relationships across multiple markets; conducting site visits to evaluate needs; developing scopes of work, estimates, and proposals; presenting solutions to customers; and managing awarded projects from start to finish, including scheduling, budgeting, materials, vendors, subcontractors, and jobsite oversight. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering, or 5+ years of relevant trade experience, plus at least 5 years of hands-on construction project management overseeing trade-specific work. Strong communication, customer service, technical evaluation, and problem-solving skills are essential. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. Preferred qualifications include OSHA certification, EPA license, or Maine/NH gas, oil, or plumbing licenses. The position operates Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional additional hours, and involves a mix of office and jobsite environments with regional travel and occasional overnight trips.
