We are seeking a high-performing Outside Sales Representative to join our Wholesale Sales Team and help expand Lakeside Surfaces' presence throughout Southeast Michigan , with a focus on serving kitchen and bath dealers, contractors, builders, designers, and other wholesale partners in and around the Ann Arbor market. About the Role As our Outside Sales Representative, Wholesale Channel, you will be the face of Lakeside Surfaces throughout Southeast Michigan. You will manage a defined territory, build long-term client relationships, and apply a consultative sales approach to drive revenue growth. This position is ideal for a self-starter with experience in B2B, wholesale, building materials, construction, design, or related sales who thrives on building partnerships and delivering value. Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy and Territory Management Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets Build and grow Lakeside Surfaces' wholesale presence throughout Southeast Michigan Manage a structured pipeline using a CRM platform Identify new business opportunities with kitchen and bath dealers, contractors, builders, remodelers, and design professionals Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine sales approach Client Relationship Development Build strong, trust-based relationships with owners, designers, purchasing teams, contractors, and other key decision-makers Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale clients, resolving concerns with professionalism and urgency Represent Lakeside Surfaces with professionalism in the field, at client locations, and at industry events Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale through installation Professional Experience 3-5 years of B2B, wholesale, building materials, construction, design, or related sales experience Background working with kitchen and bath dealers, fabricators, builders, remodelers, contractors, or interior designers highly preferred Proven track record of managing a territory and meeting or exceeding sales goals Experience developing new business and growing existing accounts Key Skills and Traits Consultative and strategic sales mindset Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills Customer-focused, empathetic, and solutions-oriented approach Self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven Comfortable working independently in the field while staying connected to the broader team Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools Work Environment Requirements Ability to travel throughout Southeast Michigan, including Ann Arbor and surrounding markets Occasional travel to other Lakeside Surfaces locations or customer sites may be required Clean driving record In-person, field-based role What We Offer Competitive base salary starting at $45,000-55,000 plus uncapped commission potential OTE of $100,000 to $150,000 annually Company-provided vehicle Cell phone reimbursement 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Paid training Professional development assistance Travel reimbursement Vision insurance Our Culture:
