Back to all jobs Inside Sales Product Specialist 1385 S M 75, Boyne City, MI, USA Full Time Medical Insurance, 401k, Life Insurance, Long Term & Short Term Disability, PTO Email Me Similar Jobs Email Me This Job The Inside Sales Product Specialist will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction by analyzing customer requirements to provide engineered solutions to meet their needs in a timely fashion. The right individual will have a strong ability to create solutions, develop strategic goals, have a strong sense of ownership, and find ways to accomplish the required goals.
Principal Responsibilities :
Responsible for assignments supporting the sales department; including but not limited to: Instill confidence with customers that IMI can meet their custom engineered solution needs in a professional and timely manner: Address incoming calls from customers and Regional Managers on inquiries, orders, and applications for assigned Product Group Submit informative and thorough proposal to customer Support customer follow-up plan with Regional Managers on open quotations Develop and grow relationships with specified key and target customers Select engineered products for the customer application: Obtain application specifications, from customer or Regional Managers and provide engineered solutions Make product selection for standard product applications Develop technical expertise on product performance and design to assess application feasibility Manage the

Utilize resources of the group to define/develop method for special customer application needs Evaluate returns and rework and work with group to prevent reoccurrence Strategically price custom engineered products to meet market demands and IMI business goals: Prepare expected base cost for standard product assemblies Research cost history and prepare estimate for special product assemblies Provide quality information to process customer requests and orders to ensure customer satisfaction: Consistently complete forms with required information and follow appropriate processes Work with Regional Managers to ensure appropriate open quote status is assigned to proposals Review all incoming orders for agreement with proposal content, terms, and conditions Work with Regional Managers and customer to resolve any order or specification discrepancies Interact with group throughout order processing to ensure customer requirements are being met and communicated Work toward continuous improvement of products and processes: Actively communicate and work with group on opportunities for sales/marketing presentation of products, product improvements, cost reductions.
