Job Description

Business Development Specialist — Household Moving Services Corrigan Moving Systems is looking for a driven, customer-focused Business Development Specialist to help grow our household moving division. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, speaking with customers, identifying opportunities, and helping drive business growth in a fast-paced environment. At Corrigan Moving Systems, we believe the customer experience starts long before the first box is packed. We are building a high-performance business development team to serve as the first point of contact for new customers—and we're looking for someone who can turn a simple phone call into a lasting impression. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers interested in moving services. Your primary focus will be developing and qualifying leads for our Household Moving Consultants by engaging with prospective customers, understanding their needs, scheduling moving surveys/estimates, and ensuring a seamless handoff to our sales team. With multiple branch locations across several states, Corrigan has built a reputation for professionalism, customer service, and operational excellence for nearly a century. What You'll Do Respond to inbound household moving inquiries from prospective customers Build rapport and develop relationships with customers over the phone, email, and online channels Qualify moving leads by gathering key move details and customer needs Schedule virtual or in-home moving surveys/estimates for the sales team Follow up with prospective customers to maximize conversion opportunities Maintain accurate lead information and activity within CRM systems Partner closely with Household Moving Consultants and operations teams Help improve lead response time, customer experience, and sales pipeline performance Assist with outbound lead generation and business development initiatives as needed Support overall branch and sales growth objectives What We're Looking For Previous experience in business development, inside sales, customer service, recruiting, call center, logistics, or related roles preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable speaking with customers in a fast-paced environment Highly organized with strong follow-up and multitasking abilities Ability to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously Professional, customer-focused mindset Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, or scheduling software preferred Moving, relocation, logistics, or service industry experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay or salary based on experience Performance bonus opportunities Weekly pay Medical benefits 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off Career advancement opportunities within a growing organization If you enjoy helping people, building relationships, and contributing to a growing sales organization, we encourage you to apply and become part of the Corrigan team.
