Director of Sales About the Role We are seeking a driven and motivated Cannabis Wholesale Sales Representative to support the expansion of our product portfolio into new dispensaries and retail partners. This role is focused on wholesale account growth, product placement, and maintaining strong relationships with buyers and store teams across the region. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a field-based sales environment, enjoys building relationships, and is hungry to grow market presence through consistent outreach, store visits, and follow-up. Essential Responsibilities Wholesale Sales & Account Growth Build and maintain relationships with dispensary buyers and retail partners. Introduce and promote product lines to new and existing accounts. Secure new retail placements and expand product distribution. Support the Director of Sales in executing regional sales strategy. Conduct regular store visits to ensure product visibility and performance. Account Management Maintain ongoing communication with retail accounts. Ensure orders are accurate, fulfilled, and properly tracked. Identify opportunities for increased product placement and menu expansion. Monitor account needs, feedback, and inventory movement. Market Development Identify and pursue new dispensary opportunities within assigned territory. Track competitor activity and market trends. Provide feedback from retail partners to improve product positioning and sales strategy. Assist in planning promotional pushes and vendor days when needed. Reporting & Communication Maintain accurate records of account activity, visits, and sales efforts. Report weekly updates to the Director of Sales. Communicate inventory needs, product demand, and retailer feedback. Qualifications 1-3+ years of sales, retail, or wholesale experience preferred. Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred (retail or wholesale). Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated with ability to work independently in the field. Comfortable with frequent local travel and store visits. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Preferred Qualifications Existing dispensary/buyer relationships in Michigan. Experience in cannabis wholesale, distribution, or brand sales. Proven ability to open new accounts or grow territory sales. Familiarity with cannabis retail operations and purchasing cycles.
