This Could Be the Perfect Job. Grand Blanc Mitsubishi is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused Internet Sales Consultant to help turn online inquiries into showroom visits. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and creating excitement—not someone who wants to spend their day negotiating deals or presenting numbers. Your primary responsibility is to communicate with customers who have expressed interest in a vehicle, answer questions, build value, and help get them through our doors. Once the customer arrives, our experienced sales team takes over the in-store portion of the process, including vehicle demonstrations, test drives, pricing, and finalizing the sale.
What You'll Do:
Promptly respond to incoming internet leads by phone, text, email, and chat. Build rapport with prospective customers. Answer questions and provide information about vehicles and dealership services. Schedule and confirm appointments. Follow up with customers who have not yet visited the dealership. Maintain accurate customer records in our CRM. Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth customer handoff. Help create an exceptional customer experience from the first point of contact.
What You Won't Be Doing:
Negotiating pricing or payments. Presenting numbers. Conducting test drives. Completing paperwork or financing. Handling the in-store sales process. Your success is measured by your ability to connect with customers, create excitement, and get them into the dealership.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Loves talking with people and building relationships. Is friendly, enthusiastic, and confident on the phone. Has strong communication and follow-up skills. Is motivated by goals and performance incentives. Enjoys helping customers without the pressure of traditional sales. Can multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Has customer service, call center, hospitality, retail, or sales experience (preferred but not required).
