Job Description

Michigan Broadband Services, a leading provider of high-speed communications solutions, is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to support growth throughout the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This role focuses on promoting fiber internet, hosted voice, and streaming TV services through in-person customer engagement. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, is self-driven, and enjoys building relationships. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay, strong commission potential, and a comprehensive benefits package. Duties and Responsibilities Proactively engage prospective clients to promote internet and related services Generate and follow up on leads through cold calls, networking, and referrals Assess corporate client needs and recommend tailored, cost-effective solutions Accurately complete all required documentation, including sales agreements and contracts Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance goals Build and maintain strong client relationships before and after the sale Process sales orders and ensure timely service activation Stay informed on company products, services, and industry trends Utilize Microsoft 365 and other sales tools effectively Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Understanding of networking, VoIP, cabling, and data services Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience preferred, ideally within the telecommunications sector Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Benefits Competitive commission structure 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off
