Job Description

Join our dynamic automotive sales team at Kia of Lansing as an Automotive Salesperson and drive your career forward! In this energetic role, you will be the face of our dealership, engaging with customers to understand their needs and guiding them through the exciting process of selecting their perfect vehicle. Engage with potential customers through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling and networking to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline. Demonstrate vehicles' features, benefits, and specifications to customers, ensuring they understand the value of each model. Negotiate deals effectively by applying strong negotiation skills to close sales while maintaining dealership profitability. Manage inventory control and assist in inventory management processes to ensure vehicle availability aligns with customer demand. Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and support sales support activities. Upsell additional products such as extended warranties, service packages, and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue. Maintain excellent phone etiquette and communication skills when engaging with clients via phone or in person, providing exceptional customer service at every touchpoint. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop outreach strategies that boost retail sales and brand visibility. Support dealership operations by organizing appointments, preparing sales documents, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial contact to final sale. Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales, preferably within a dealership environment, but we are willing to train the right person. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a busy sales pipeline efficiently. Excellent negotiation, communication, and public speaking skills to confidently present vehicles and close deals. Familiarity with CRM software and inventory management systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of outbound sales techniques such as cold calling and B2B sales strategies. Demonstrated ability in upselling, retail math, and retail psychology to maximize deal value. Experience in high-end or luxury vehicle sales is advantageous but not required. Strong customer service orientation combined with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. $45,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
