Due to the recent addition of our used car lot, Watson Manistee is growing and looking to add an Automotive Sales Associate to our team. With the expansion of our used vehicle operation, this position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing sales department. We are a fast-paced workplace with some of the best employees in the area, and we are looking for someone who is ready to help customers find their perfect vehicle match. Essential Job Duties Assist customers with new and used vehicle purchases. Sell and deliver vehicles while maintaining dealership standards for customer satisfaction. Greet customers who enter the dealership showroom or used vehicle lot. Help customers select a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their needs. Explain vehicle features, benefits, options, pricing, and available warranties. Offer test drives to all qualified prospects and follow dealership procedures for customer identification. Write complete sales orders and process paperwork according to dealership policies. Work with sales managers to ensure every customer receives a professional and helpful experience. Utilize dealership sales, CRM, follow-up, and prospecting systems. Maintain a prospect development system to generate repeat and referral business. Follow up with customers before and after the sale to ensure expectations are met. Keep up to date on new and used inventory, vehicle features, pricing, and market trends. Understand vehicle values, trade-ins, equity, and depreciation, and explain them clearly to customers. Ensure all closed deals are turned over to the finance and insurance manager with properly completed paperwork. Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival. Deliver vehicles to customers and explain operating features, warranty information, and paperwork. Introduce customers to the service department and schedule their first service appointment. Follow up on post-delivery items, title work, "we-owes," and special requests. Attend sales meetings and training courses as requested. Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner. Maintain a professional appearance. Perform other tasks as assigned. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous sales experience preferred. Automotive sales experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be motivated, dependable, and customer-focused. Strong communication and follow-up skills are important.
