Automotive Parts Outside Salesperson

A reputable and growing chain of auto parts stores is seeking and energetic and enthusiastic Outside Salesperson to join our growing team of auto parts professionals in our Manistique (Central to Eastern part of Upper Peninsula). Our Outside Salespeople are responsible for program implementation to enable our installer customers to increase their market share, profitability and return on investment. Our OSS have the opportunity to ensure that our company stores successfully compete in their market and drive market growth, sales and profitability.

Responsibilities:

Work with our local auto parts stores and their installer customers. Increase the market share, profitability and return on investment by implementing company marketing, sales and training programs. Work in an advisor and business partner role with shop owners and build long-term relationships. Maintain communications with Manager and Sales Director. Engage store personnel in training on utilization of Company programs and sales promotions. Strive to meet territory quotas and contribute to the achievement of store team targets. Demonstrate true leadership with vision, collaboration, trust, respect and effectiveness. Assist other store team members. Want their income to reflect their delivered results. Effectively communicate with members, prospective members, other staff members, management and other leaders in our industry.

Qualifications:

Business or retail experience preferably in the Aftermarket Auto Parts industry. Working knowledge of CRM systems are a plus. Field travel experience. Proven record of consultative sales a plus. Strong time management skills.
