Outside Sales Representative - Siding & Windows Paramount Roofing | Metro Detroit, MI Position Overview Paramount Roofing is seeking a high-performing Outside Sales Representative focused exclusively on siding and window sales . This is a closing role for experienced professionals who understand product, installation, and how to deliver a true 5-star customer experience. This position is ideal for someone who has sold vinyl siding, James Hardie siding, and replacement windows (Pella preferred) and can confidently guide homeowners through design, product selection, and project execution. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Generation Run pre-qualified appointments and self-generate additional opportunities Close siding and window projects at strong margins Present solutions for: Vinyl siding systems James Hardie fiber cement siding Pella window products and upgrades Build trust quickly and deliver a professional, consultative sales experience Maintain strong close rates and hit monthly sales targets Product Expertise Demonstrate deep knowledge of: Vinyl siding systems (profiles, insulation, accessories) James Hardie siding (installation requirements, trim, moisture control) Pella windows (product lines, performance, energy efficiency) Educate homeowners on product differences, value, and long-term performance Properly scope jobs to ensure accuracy in pricing and execution Customer Experience Deliver a 5-star experience from first interaction to project completion Set clear expectations on timelines, scope, and process Maintain communication with homeowners throughout the project Drive 5-star reviews and referrals Project Coordination Work closely with production and crews to ensure: Clean, organized job sites Accurate job specifications Conduct site visits as needed to ensure project success Handle any issues proactively and professionally Self-Generated Leads & Networking Actively generate business through: Referrals and past customers Local networking opportunities Build a strong personal pipeline in addition to company-provided leads Requirements Proven experience in siding and/or window sales and/or installation (REQUIRED) Strong knowledge of: Vinyl siding James Hardie siding Replacement windows ( Pella experience preferred ) Ability to climb roofs, inspect exteriors, and assess project scope Strong closing ability with a track record of hitting sales targets Professional appearance and communication skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation Plan Commission-based with high earning potential Additional incentives for: Self-generated leads High close rates Margin performance Top performers have the opportunity to earn $150K-$300K+ annually What Success Looks Like Consistently closing high-quality siding and window projects Maintaining strong margins without heavy discounting Generating referrals and 5-star reviews Running a clean, organized pipeline Becoming a trusted expert in the homeowner's eyes Why Paramount Strong brand with 1,000+ 5-star reviews High-quality leads and marketing support Premium product offerings (Hardie, Pella, top-tier materials) A team that values performance, accountability, and growth Real opportunity to build a long-term, high-income career
