Responsibilities Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services. Drive company vehicles safely across designated routes, ensuring timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct route driving efficiently, managing schedules to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities. Utilize strong communication skills to upsell additional products or services that meet customer needs, enhancing overall sales performance. Perform merchandising tasks by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability at each stop. Handle heavy lifting of products and supplies safely during deliveries and restocking activities. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, route logs, and customer interactions for organizational purposes. Skills Proficiency in pricing strategies and the ability to communicate value effectively to customers. Solid understanding of math for calculating prices, discounts, and profit margins. Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license; familiarity with route driving is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on active listening and problem-solving. Excellent communication skills for engaging customers and collaborating with team members. Knowledge of merchandising principles to optimize product presentation at various locations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries or stock replenishment. Organizational skills for managing schedules, routes, and inventory records accurately.
