Hours Per Week Role Summary:
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for following up on new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential customers. This role involves identifying and targeting new prospects and nurturing long-term relationships to expand the company's customer base. The Sales Development Representative will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment in targeting and securing new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow up via phone and email on new business opportunities generated by the inside and outside sales teams with the goal of converting prospects into customers. Schedule follow-up meetings for prospective customers and sales representatives as needed. Conduct market analysis to identify and understand customer needs and tailor outreach efforts accordingly. Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential customers. Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted sales strategies and action plans for new business development. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, leads, and sales activities in the CRM system. Meet and exceed quotas by converting leads into clients. Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment of sales messaging and strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field is preferred but not required. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects. Strong communication skills both in person and over the phone. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a field-based role. Ability to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
