Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our team and drive our business growth through proactive sales efforts. In this role, you will develop, grow, and maintain customer relationships within assigned territories and target OEM markets. This position manages the full sales cycle - from identifying new opportunities and understanding technical requirements to supporting quoting, coordinating engineering reviews, and securing long-term production programs. Responsibilities Prospect & Qualify Research and prioritize target OEMs in the mobile and specialized industrial markets. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product development and positioning. Execute multi-channel outreach to secure discovery conversations and introductory meetings. Qualify opportunities based on potential relationship success factors including requirements/capabilities match, cultural fit, and alignment with company growth and profit goals. Conduct in-person visits with prospective clients. Represent the company at trade shows, supplier days, and industry events. Account Management Coordinate customer care by responding to needs, issues, and opportunities with the goal of saying "yes" to the customer whenever possible. Develop and expand business within existing customer accounts. Make regular customer visits to understand application challenges, performance needs, and upcoming projects. Maintain regular communication regarding pricing, lead-time updates, project status, and quality discussions. Assist in resolving field issues, warranty concerns, and engineering changes. Close Sales Gather necessary information to support RFQs, including models, drawings, application requirements and design specifications. Coordinate technical reviews with internal engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into manufacturable solutions. Develop and deliver accurate quotes and proposals. Obtain and track feedback on wins and losses to inform and improve the sales process. Report & Forecast Record and track opportunities using CRM pipeline tools and provide regular reports on sales activities and pipeline status. Develop sales forecasts based on customer forecasts, projections, and pipeline models. Track and provide feedback on customer satisfaction. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred. 3 - 5+ years of experience selling to OEMs in the mobile or industrial equipment markets, preferably in fluid power or custom manufacturing. Proven ability to win business and develop and nurture strong customer relationships. Strong understanding of hydraulic cylinders and fluid power systems. Experience with long-cycle B2B sales and engineered-to-order products. Technical aptitude to understand and communicate complex product specifications. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Position will be regionally based within sales territory and will be expected to travel as much as 70% of work time to accounts within the territory provided by Aurelius Leadership Team. The responsibilities of this position must be carried out in an efficient, accurate and courteous manner while dealing with frequent interruptions. Accountability, integrity, drive, and alignment to company culture and goals will be critical to success for the sales representative and the company. Manufacturing office setting which includes occasional exposure to noise and dust. Must be capable of wearing the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) necessary to comply with company safety policies. This position requires sitting, standing, walking and driving. Benefits and Compensation Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, HSA, 401k w/ Match, PTO, Holidays, and more! Base salary $85,000 to $95,000 with performance based commission plus upside.
