Job Description

Are you a motivated closer with a talent for connecting with customers and a creative eye for marketing? We are looking for an energetic person to drive sales of premium hot tubs and other high-ticket products while helping grow our leads through social media and advertising.
What You'll Do:
Consult with customers in-store, by phone, and online to match them with the right hot tub, sauna, or other premium product Guide customers through the entire sales process, from first inquiry to post-delivery follow up Build relationships and generate referrals through excellent customer service Follow up with leads promptly and consistently Ensure existing customers are followed through with five-star customer service Create and manage engaging social media content (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) Assist with digital advertising campaigns, promotions, and seasonal marketing efforts
What We're Looking For:
Proven success in sales, especially retail or high-ticket products Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfort in asking for the sale and closing deals Must to be able to easily pick up industry-specific computer programs and CRM tools Experience with social media marketing, Meta, and advertising preferred Proficiency in English, including the use of proper grammar in the written context of email and text Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner Ability to multi-task and work quickly A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus Self-starter, someone who finds ambition to succeed from within themselves Basic computer and math skills Interest in home, outdoor living, or wellness products is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary + commission (high earning potential) The listed pay range is an achievable compensation range based on current performance expectations for a first-fifth year sales person, not a "top-end only" estimate Full time employees qualify for 50% company paid health insurance premiums, MN paid leave for short term disability or family leave, and 4% 401k matching (inquire for details) Employees receive up to 48 hours 1st year ESST (PTO) Employee discounts Paid training Base wages are salary-based, rather than hourly, to account for the fluctuating amount of time spent at home responding to emails and phone calls outside of scheduled business hours Approximately 30 in-store hours are required per week to promote the in-person sales process as well as communicate with other team members and ensure smooth customer experiences. Additional Duties May or May Not Include Over the Winter, there are fewer leads due to the natural seasonality of this business. During this time, employees on side projects to help propel the company forward for each Spring. For this position, we are looking for a salesperson who also has skills in social media marketing, website SEO, and general advertising to help build sales and customer support both in the on and off season. While in store, in times of need you may be requested to help with the following: Perform water chemistry analysis and give customers direction on chemical needs (especially with customers you have sold to). Process POS (point of sale) purchases and returns. Help maintain a clean and presentable retail store. This is a small company and many roles have crossover needs; duties are not limited to this list and will be assigned as needed. Requirements Willingness to work some evenings until 6:30pm and at least one weekend day in store in order to increase sales potential. Hours can be flexible. In order to achieve the highest likelihood of sales, a willingness to contact customer leads during their convenience, outside of business hours. We can provide an iPad and the CRM tools to do this. Ability and willingness to use a lift to reach products (no fear of heights) Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs (to prep spas for delivery) Company provides On-the-job training, competitive wage, employee discount, opportunity & training for job advancement. An ability to pick up on new material quickly is helpful. We are very willing to train people coming from a different industry. Additional Notes Premier Pools is a small business that continues to grow year after year. Our Retail Showroom showcases several Arctic Spas, UAG Hot Tubs, and multiple brands of Saunas. We also sell chemicals, automatic pool cleaners, YETI merchandise, toys, etc. Our full service department supports the sales team and customers, providing in-house warranties for all high ticket items sold.
