Automotive reconditioning/lot manager

Metropolitan Ford in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a reconditioning/lot manager. The position is responsible for lot appearance and presenting a clean, safe vehicle to our customers. They will have their hands on our vehicle inventory each step of the way from it's delivery or trade-in through preparing the vehicle for delivery to our customer. This position requires a lot of walking (inside and out, snow or shine), and frequently getting in and out of vehicles. If interested, please send your resume via email. Thanks! This position will be involved in: Maintaining lot and inventory appearance. Preparation of vehicles to be presented to our customer. (Light detailing including driving the vehicle through the car wash, removing stickers, vacuuming the interior and other miscellaneous cleaning) Supervising other lot attendants/detailers when needed. Logging vehicles as they come and go to vendors for repair and cleaning. Other duties as assigned.

An ideal candidate has:

Some experience in the automotive industry whether it's in sales, service or parts. Attention to detail and willing to be thorough in reporting issues with vehicles to the right people. Pride in your work. Eager to learn. Ability to drive manual transmission a plus, but not required.

We require:

Valid Minnesota driver's license and acceptable driving record. Safe driving and good judgment. Able to prioritize and work with our sales team to ensure we satisfy our customer. Able to be on your feet the majority of the day and get in and out of vehicles frequently. Willing to be outside when needed year-round. Please email your resume, thanks!
