Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Heavy Truck and Parts Road Salesman to join our expanding sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving truck and outside parts sales through proactive outside sales efforts, building strong customer relationships, and managing a robust sales pipeline. Your expertise in B2B (business-to-business) sales, negotiation, and customer service will be essential to achieving targets and growing our market presence. We are looking for someone who proactively is looking for new ways to push the business forward and stay on top of all responsibilities. Duties Develop and execute strategic outside sales initiatives to identify new business opportunities within the heavy truck industry. Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by prospecting, cold calling, and qualifying leads through outbound sales efforts. Market trucks among all platforms Negotiate deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while meeting company profit margins. Manage customer relationships through tracking interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress. Support inventory management by coordinating with the dealership team to ensure availability aligns with customer demand. Upsell additional products customers may need Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly via phone, email, online, or in person, demonstrating professionalism and product knowledge. Maintain organized records of all sales activities, client communications, and deal documentation for reporting purposes. Take care of tax, title, and license for customers Identify problems with new inventory that need to be fixed Collaborate with shop and parts people to ensure trucks are lot ready Collaborate with other sales team members to ensure pictures are taken of new inventory and website is up to date Assist in relocating inventory from vendor lots to our own Assist in taking vehicles to outside vendors for repair work Help get drivers to shuttle services Keeping lot clean and organized Lend a hand in other areas of the business where its needed to ensure vehicles are ready to be sold as soon as possible Search internet for new inventory to buy Skills Experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or automobile/truck dealership environments. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-value deals confidently. Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette, to effectively engage clients across diverse channels. Multilingual capabilities are a significant advantage for reaching a broader customer base but not required. Knowledge of inventory control, retail math, and organizational skills necessary for managing multiple accounts simultaneously. Experience with outbound calling strategies such as cold calling to generate new business opportunities. Knowledge of heavy trucks Familiarity with marketing techniques that support high-end truck and parts sales initiatives. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Knowledge of computers and being able to adapt to new system Efficient navigation across multiple systems necessary for daily operations Class A license or willingness to obtain one is a plus
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
