Sales and Scheduling Representative

Plainview Milk Products Cooperative has a 125+ year tradition in the dairy industry, serving over 100 patrons across Minnesota and Wisconsin. We supply fluid milk to retail and food service markets, as well as bulk dairy ingredients for further processing. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sales & Scheduling Assistant to join our team. This position plays a key role in coordinating sales activities, managing customer relationships, and ensuring efficient production and delivery scheduling.

Position Summary:

Job Duties and Requirements:

Oversee day-to-day sales operations Monitor market conditions and assist with forecasting Stay up to date on industry trends and pricing Build and maintain strong customer relationships Provide excellent customer service Schedule production for all products in coordination with operations Order packaging materials and production supplies Maintain accurate production and sales records Coordinate truck transportation and delivery schedules Manage and schedule customer orders Identify and pursue new customer opportunities Communicate effectively with the management team Ensure compliance with GMPs and all company, regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation standards Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, plus 5 years of sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed Experience in the food or beverage industry preferred Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Solid computer skills (Excel, scheduling systems, etc.) Plainview Milk Products Cooperative offers a competitive compensation plan including medical/dental benefits as well as 401k plan with company match.
