  • Full-time Position Summary The Business Development Representative is BellPro's front-line ambassador for new business — responsible for identifying prospects, generating qualified opportunities, and expanding BellPro's presence in the markets we serve.
This role focuses on outbound prospecting, relationship development, and marketing support, working closely with the Lead Estimator & Business Development Lead to ensure a consistent and professional flow of new opportunities into the pipeline. This is not a closing role. Your job is to open doors, build awareness, and create qualified opportunities for BellPro's estimating and sales team to convert. The ideal candidate is persistent, organized, and energized by outreach — someone who takes pride in representing a company with a 30-year reputation and a genuine story to tell. Essential Functions & Responsibilities 1. Prospecting & Outreach (primary focus — approximately 60%) Research and identify target customers including general contractors, glazing contractors, curtain wall contractors, elevator companies, and architectural firms across BellPro's served markets. Conduct daily outbound cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to introduce BellPro's capabilities and generate interest. Develop and maintain a prospecting target list using HubSpot. Qualify leads by identifying project scope, timeline, decision-makers, and level of interest before passing to the estimating team. Document all outreach activity, lead status, contact notes, and follow-up dates in HubSpot — same-day entry required. Coordinate warm, professional handoffs to the Lead Estimator & Business Development Lead once a lead is qualified and engaged. 2. Marketing & Brand Visibility (approximately 40%) Routinely capture and submit project photos, customer highlights, and field content to support BellPro's social media presence, particularly LinkedIn. Coordinate ideas and content for newsletters, case studies, and project features that showcase BellPro's expertise and capabilities. Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to provide intelligence that informs outreach strategy and messaging. Support leadership in executing BellPro's marketing calendar with consistent weekly social media content and measurable monthly outcomes. Routinely suggest website updates, collateral improvements, and digital presence enhancements based on market observations. 3. Reporting & Pipeline Management Provide a weekly activity report to the Business Development Lead each Monday by 9:00 AM, including contacts made, responses received, and leads advanced. Maintain an active, organized pipeline at all stages in HubSpot. Participate in Level 10 and team meetings, contributing pipeline updates and market feedback.
Key Competencies Professional skills:
3+ years B2B outbound sales, business development, or inside sales HubSpot CRM proficiency strongly preferred LinkedIn and social media content experience QuickBase familiarity helpful Understanding of commercial construction sales cycle Industry experience in glass & glazing, metals, or elevators a plus Personal attributes: Persistent and resilient — cold outreach is the core of this role Self-starter with strong follow-through and accountability Highly organized and detail-oriented Confident on the phone, professional in writing Coachable and collaborative team player
