This organization specializes in technology consulting, sales, and ongoing support, helping clients build structured plans that align with both immediate needs and long-term objectives. The Technology Sales Executive will play a key role in driving revenue growth by expanding into new markets—including municipal, government, and small-to-mid-sized businesses—while continuing to support and grow an established client base. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional with strong technical acumen and a passion for helping organizations implement impactful technology solutions. Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing an existing client base across Minnesota. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, working closely with internal engineering teams to deliver tailored technology solutions that align with their operational and strategic goals.
  • Manage and expand an existing portfolio of clients while actively prospecting new business opportunities
  • Identify client needs and recommend customized technology solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support implementation of:
  • Data network infrastructure
  • Wireless networks
  • Security systems
  • Voice and phone solutions (including IP-based systems)
  • Drive expansion into municipal, government, and SMB markets
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients and support regional initiatives Qualifications Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within a technical or technology-focused environment
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including data networks and infrastructure
  • Experience or familiarity with IP phone systems and voice solutions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow through on sales activities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and approachable demeanor Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in technical or solution-based sales
  • Knowledge of wireless networks, security systems, and broader IT infrastructure solutions
  • Experience working with public sector, municipal, or SMB clients
