Job Description

Overview:
ELCO Chevrolet Cadillac is excited to announce an immediate opening for a full time, Preowned Automotive Salesperson located at our dealership in Ballwin, MO. This position will be responsible for the sale of used vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. Not only do we have the most generous pay plan in the St. Louis area, we also have an outstanding team of individuals. To join this team, we're looking for an experienced and motivated car sales consultant with a passion for cars and the ability to energize the customer!
Responsibilities:
Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses. Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the sales lot. Explains fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects and describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Knows and understands equity and values, and is able to explain depreciation to the customer. Completes sales orders and processes paperwork (including insurance information, trade title, etc.) to finance and insurance manager. Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery and ensures that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork. Introduces customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department and schedules first service appointment. Follows up on all post delivery items and maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years (DUI/DWI). Must have a valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years. Must be willing to take a pre-employment drug screening test. Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. Minimum 3 years of recent experience in car sales with a proven track record of success. Must be able to work every Saturday 9 am - 6 pm.
