Job Description

We are hiring a motivated and personable Salesperson. The Salesperson is responsible for selling new & used vehicles while maintaining appropriate levels of gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction.
Other duties include:
Satisfying the transportation needs of vehicle purchasers. Approaching, greeting, and offering assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot. Assisting customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses. Suggesting alternative vehicles if necessary. Understanding the terminology of the automobile business and keeping abreast of changes in product technology, incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc. Providing thorough product information and demonstration to all prospects. Offering test drives to all prospects. Following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customers before test drive begins. Knowing and understanding the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto sales. Establishing personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devising a strategy to meet those goals. Preparing sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival. Delivering vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork. Introducing customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department. Scheduling the first service appointment. Maintaining an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction. Maintaining a prospect development and follow-up system. Maintaining a professional appearance. Performing other duties as assigned. Benefits include : 401(k), Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance, Major Holidays off, & Vacation Time. Pay is commission. Average of $50,000 the first year but possibility of $80,000-$120,000+ after experience and building of clientele.
