JOB SUMMARY
The Inside Parts Sales Representative supports aftermarket parts sales activities by service as a primary point of contact for customers, distributors, and internal teams. This role is responsible for parts identification, quotation, order processing, and coordination of fulfillment activities to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction. The position requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration to support revenue growth and service operations.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Support and Sales Execution Serve as the primary point of contact for parts inquiries from customers, distributors, and internal teams Respond to customer inquiries regarding replacement parts availability, pricing, specifications, and lead times in a timely manner via phone, email, and online requests Identify and recommend correct replacement parts using machine serial numbers, engineering drawings, bills of materials, and parts manuals Prepare and deliver accurate parts quotations and proactively follow up to convert opportunities into sales Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term account growth Order Processing and Fulfillment Process parts orders and coordinate order fulfillment to ensure on-time delivery Maintain accurate customer, quotation, and order information within ERP and CRM systems Coordinate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to support order execution Follow up on open quotations and backorders to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction Service and Cross-Functional Support Support field service personnel by sourcing and coordinating parts required for service visits and emergency repairs Collaborate with Engineering, Service, and Operations teams to resolve technical or availability issues Stay current on product updates, engineering changes, and new equipment platforms Issue Resolution and Continuous Improvement Resolve customer concerns related to parts availability, pricing, shipping, and order discrepancies Identify opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and overall customer experience Ensure compliance with internal procedures related to order management and documentation
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred Minimum 2+ years of experience in parts sales, inside sales, customer service, or aftermarket support in a manufacturing or industrial equipment environment
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand machinery components, assemblies, and technical documentation Experience using ERP, CRM, or order management systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in quotations, order entry, and customer communications Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role is primarily performed in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer are required. Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and copies. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching may be required. Ability to lift and/or move items up to approximately 25 pounds.
