Role:
Entry Sales / Internship We design and install premium holiday lighting for commercial properties — retail centers, office parks, hotels, restaurants, car dealerships, HOAs, and municipalities. The lights go up for two months, but the selling happens all year. We're hiring a Commercial Sales Representative to own that pipeline: find the properties, get in front of the decision-makers, run the site consultation, build the proposal, and close the contract. If you can sell a $1,500-$15,000+ project to a property manager and make them feel like they got the white-glove treatment, we want to talk. What You'll Do Prospect commercial accounts — build and work a target list of retail, hospitality, office, HOA, dealership, and municipal properties in your territory. Outbound calls, emails, walk-ins, and networking, not just waiting on inbound. Book and run site consultations — walk the property, understand what the client wants their building to look like, and translate that into a vision you can sell. Build winning proposals — turn site visits into custom designs and accurate quotes. Close contracts — own the deal from first touch to signed agreement and collected deposit. Manage your pipeline in our CRM — every lead, every follow-up, every stage logged. Speed-to-lead is how we win. Hit a seasonal booking quota — the calendar is unforgiving. The selling window closes when installs begin, so consistent weekly activity matters. Who We're Looking For Proven B2B or outside sales experience , ideally in home services, construction, signage, landscaping, or anything where you sold to property managers, facility managers, or business owners. Christmas light experience not required — sales ability is. A self-starter who hunts. You don't wait for leads; you create them. You're comfortable cold-walking a shopping center or cold-calling a property management company. Strong consultative skills — you ask good questions, listen, and design a solution rather than reading a price off a sheet. Organized and CRM-disciplined. Deals die in messy pipelines. Yours won't be messy. Comfortable with a seasonal rhythm — you can sprint when the window is open and you understand that fall is when the year is won or lost. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily site visits across the territory.
Bonus:
existing relationships with local commercial property managers, HOA boards, or business associations. Compensation We pay for performance and protect you while you ramp: Weekly draw against commission of [$650/week] — guaranteed floor while you build your pipeline. [10%] commission on every contract you close , paid on cash collected (not just signed).
Realistic OTE:
[$5000/m - $8000/m] for a rep who works hard. Top performers exceed it. Why This Role High ticket, fast close. Commercial deals are bigger than residential and the decision cycle is short once you're in front of the right person. Warm demand. Businesses want to stand out during the holidays — you're selling something they already know they need. A product you can be proud of. Premium, professional, commercial-grade work that makes properties look incredible.
