Pettus Ford Fredericktown is looking for a motivated, people-focused Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This is not just a car sales job. Automotive sales experience is helpful, but not required. If you have experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, marketing, call centers, insurance, real estate, or any role where you work with people, we would like to talk with you. What You'll Do As a Sales Consultant, you will help customers through every step of the vehicle-buying process, from the first conversation to the final handshake.
Responsibilities include:
Greet and assist customers in a professional, friendly manner Listen to customer needs and help match them with the right vehicle Present new and pre-owned Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles Conduct product demonstrations and test drives Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, showroom guests, and previous customers Build long-term relationships with customers before, during, and after the sale Work with managers, finance, service, and support teams to deliver a great customer experience Maintain knowledge of current inventory, vehicle features, pricing, incentives, and dealership processes Use CRM tools to track leads, appointments, follow-ups, and customer communication Help create a positive, high-energy dealership environment What We're Looking For The right candidate is someone who is driven, coachable, and genuinely good with people.
