We have one opening for a full time retail team member to perform duties including: Providing customers with knowledgeable service Ringing up transactions using Quickbooks Point of Sale Processing & testing inbound orders Stocking new & existing products Troubleshooting products for customers Merchandising products Maintaining a clean & orderly store This position is fast paced, hands on, and requires a great deal of training to thoroughly learn our 13k+ unique products. Think about a time when you've been in a store, asked a question, and found that the person helping you knew pretty much anything and everything about the product... that is what we offer customers and why we still have regulars from back when we first opened our doors decades ago. This position has a starting base pay of $14 per hour paid bi-weekly plus an end of month bonus of at least $2 per hour worked based on the store's overall performance for the previous month. In addition to our base pay & bonuses, we have regular reviews for raises (both merit and cost of living increases) and a fantastic employee discount program. While this position does start at a combined $16 per hour with base salary plus bonuses, we do not have a pay cap for any of our positions. The harder you work, the longer you're here, the more you learn, the more you'll make. Our full service store features a complete line of traditional & contemporary tobacco products, nicotine & THC vape products, a full line of CBD & other THC products, and countless related accessories. Due to the nature of our products, all applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Additionally, since this is a small business with limited staff we really need open availability so we can cover one another's shifts as needed due to illness, appointments, etc. Please note that due to the vast amount of knowledge needed for this job and the amount of training needed to do it well, we are specifically looking for applicants who typically spend at least a year in their previous positions. We want to find someone who can remain a part of our family for many years to come and past behavior can be a great indicator of that potential. Our staff depend on one another and our customers depend on us being here for them so this is a job for fully formed adults. We need to show up on time, every time. We need to be ready & able to work when we are at work. We can enjoy our products (and ridiculous volume of free samples) on our own time but being high at work means immediate termination.
