This isn't one of them. This role is built for someone who likes being inside manufacturing plants, talking with engineers, solving real production problems, and building long-term customer relationships. You'll represent a specialized industrial product line used by manufacturers to improve production efficiency, eliminate static issues, reduce contamination, and keep high-speed lines running properly. Customers already exist throughout the territory - the focus is growing relationships, identifying new applications, and becoming a trusted technical resource within those accounts. You'll work across industries like packaging, plastics, automotive, food & beverage, converting, and industrial manufacturing. One day may involve troubleshooting an issue on a production floor, the next could be walking a plant with maintenance and engineering teams discussing a new process or application. This is a strong fit for someone with a technical or engineering-related background who enjoys the customer side of manufacturing and wants a role with autonomy, variety, and long-term growth potential.
What They're Looking For:
  • Experience in industrial, technical, or manufacturing-related sales
  • Comfortable working directly with engineers, maintenance, and operations teams
  • Technical aptitude — able to understand equipment, processes, and applications
  • Self-driven and comfortable managing a territory independently
  • Willingness to travel throughout the region for customer visits
Why People Like This Role:
  • Existing customer base already in place
  • Mix of relationship growth and new opportunity development
  • Highly autonomous, field-based role
  • Technical product line with real impact inside manufacturing operations
  • Opportunity to become a true subject matter expert within a specialized industry
  • Strong long-term stability and growth potential within industrial manufacturing sales
Compensation :
  • Base salary in the $80K-$85K range
  • Performance-based bonus structure with strong upside
  • Full benefits package included
