Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Salesperson specializing in car parts! Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting the appropriate automotive parts and accessories by providing detailed product information and recommendations Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify customer needs accurately and suggest suitable solutions Manage inventory control and stock replenishment to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels Handle point-of-sale transactions efficiently using POS systems, including cash handling and receipt processing Negotiate prices and terms with customers to close sales effectively while maintaining positive relationships Maintain comprehensive records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or other organizational tools Support vehicle maintenance and automotive repair activities by providing technical advice and coordinating parts orders Requirements Proven experience in dealership sales, retail sales, or automotive parts sales is highly preferred Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities, to serve a diverse customer base Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service procedures Familiarity with inventory management systems, POS software, Microsoft Excel, and retail math for order fulfillment and stock control Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and record keeping Ability to negotiate effectively with customers while demonstrating strong customer service skills Bilingual proficiency is a plus for engaging with a broader clientele Previous experience with dealership operations or marketing strategies is advantageous Embark on a career where your passion for automobiles meets your talent for sales!
