Job Description

Territory Salesman Full time position based out of Billings, MT 8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed
Description:
Territory salesman will be required to deliver products to customers on assigned route. The Territory Salesman will need a CDL or be able to pass a CDL once hired. Assists all customers by providing knowledge and experience in animal nutrition, care, products, and maintenance or use of related equipment. Creates and supports a teamwork environment. Salesman will also work in store or the lot as needed when not on the road delivering.
Areas of Responsibility:
Meet and greet every customer Consistent quality customer service ensuring a successful shopping experience Freight stocking Unloading and loading trailers Upkeep and organization of department including recovery Product knowledge and experience is critical to the success of this position Self-training assessments and evaluations Other duties as needed Creates and maintains a safe environment for customers and employees
Skill Requirements:
Strong communication skills Strong organizational skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Excel in fast-paced and evolving environments Familiar with standard concepts and practices in retail Dependability, honesty, and commitment Requires experience and knowledge of livestock equipment, nutrition, and care of livestock and pets
Responsibilities:
Deliver products to customers one week each month to assigned route Maintain consistent and quality customer service Be knowledgeable about products Keep paperwork for sales of assigned route organized Meet and greet customers in store
Physical Demands:
Standing for long periods of time Heavy and repetitive lifting Being outside with different weather conditions Driving machinery (forklift, truck and trailer) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.
