We're looking for a motivated and service-driven Sales Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll help individuals and families make confident decisions about their financial protection by offering life insurance and a range of ancillary products. Primary Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to understand their financial protection needs. Present and sell life insurance and ancillary products, including but not limited to dental, vision, disability, and supplemental coverage. Educate clients on policy options, coverage details, and long-term benefits to help them make informed decisions. Generate new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, and outbound prospecting. Conduct client meetings in person, virtually, or by phone to review coverage and recommend solutions. Assist clients through the application and underwriting process, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of all documentation. Follow up on leads and maintain consistent communication to build trust and long-term client relationships. Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and compliance requirements. Utilize CRM systems and tracking tools to manage client interactions and sales activities with strong attention to detail. Participate in marketing events, seminars, and community outreach opportunities, including occasional evenings or weekends. Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure seamless client experience. Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals. Support increased workload and extended working hours during the Annual Enrollment Period (October-December), including longer daily hours and additional availability as needed to ensure exceptional client service during this peak season. Provide cross-functional support to Licensed Client Advocates (LCAs) as needed, including assisting Medicare and health insurance clients and offering additional support during the Annual Enrollment Period to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
Previous sales experience preferred (insurance, financial services, or related field a plus). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed. Ability to explain complex information in a clear and client-friendly manner. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM systems. Willingness to obtain and maintain required insurance licenses (Life & Health; training provided if needed). High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or related field is a plus. Background check required upon offer of employment
