We're seeking an energetic and strategic Sales Manager to lead, coach, and grow a high-performing sales team. Your expertise in outside sales, business development, and management will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and delivering exceptional value to our clients. Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and surpass sales targets through active coaching and mentorship. Develop comprehensive sales strategies tailored to target markets, emphasizing B2B (business-to-business) relationships and technology solutions. Drive new business development initiatives by identifying opportunities, engaging prospects, and closing high-value deals. Manage key accounts with a focus on customer service excellence, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and optimize outreach efforts. Collaborate with marketing teams to craft compelling campaigns that generate leads and increase brand awareness. Conduct regular analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approaches and identify growth opportunities. Requirements ✓ 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including 2+ years managing a team ✓ Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota as both a contributor and a people manager ✓ Experience developing and retaining high-performing sales teams ✓ Strong analytical mindset — you use CRM data and pipeline metrics to lead, not just report ✓ Excellent communication skills; able to influence across functions without formal authority ✓ Comfort managing competing priorities in a fast-moving, metrics-driven environmentProven experience in outside sales with a strong track record in B2B sales, technology sales, or technical solutions.
Preferred:
Experience leading both field sales reps and branch/location managers simultaneously Familiarity with consultative or solutions-based selling methodologies Experience with [CRM platform, e.g., Salesforce] Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
