Job Description

Summary:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by engaging with potential customers and nurturing existing client relationships. You will work closely with and support the outside and technical sales team to achieve sales targets out of our office. You will support the sales process related to products and/or services via telephone and Internet (e.g., chat, email, video conferencing, etc.) and function as point of contact throughout the order lifecycle. Including, but not limited to post sale, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and growing business. You will maintain relationships with accounts through ongoing client contact and support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer incoming calls and emails to the Inside Sales Department. Generate Quotes, order entry, certificates, etc to move orders through the lifecycle. Learn Burkert's offerings for potential and current customers. Partner and liaise effectively with Field Sales, Technical Sales and others to meet customer needs, support full cycle sales coverage and achieve regional goals. Learn Burkert processes and principles to drive growth. Develop a functional understanding of our customers and industries as related to the Burkert products or services being sold. Begin a rotation of training to gain knowledge of products, selling skills, customer relationship skills and others as needed. REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Associate degree is preferred 2+ years of customer service and/or inside experience preferably in a manufacturing, office environment Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Experience using SAP Preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. Quick learner, receptive to coaching, and collaborative. Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and follow-up skills High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, initiative-taking, and goal oriented Uncompromising commitment to driving a positive customer experience each and every interaction
