No Position Summary As a Hearth Sales Rep with our Hearth division, you will be responsible for working directly with our builder customers and their clients (homeowners) to facilitate and finalize selections for their hearth needs. Key Responsibilities Engage builder customers and their clients (homeowners) to facilitate and finalize selections for their hearth needs, including fireplaces, inserts, mantels, surrounds, and related accessories Work closely with builders and homeowners to understand their needs and showcase a variety of gas and electric units that will meet their expectations Advise customers on product fit, including venting requirements, fuel type, sizing, and clearance considerations, coordinating with the field team where technical input is needed Create and update estimates Work closely with the customer builder to address customer needs Effectively create excitement and buy-in for the builder and their clients to continually close sales and create repeat business Prepare necessary selection documents, POs, and work orders Work directly with the field team to ensure installations meet work order expectations regarding products and timelines Update CRM/ERP platform with client and project details Perform other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications and Skills Outgoing, motivated, self-driven individual Previous sales experience preferred; familiarity with hearth, fireplace, or related home products a plus Knowledge of gas, wood, and electric products and basic venting concepts is helpful; NFI (National Fireplace Institute) certification is a plus or willingness to obtain it Must have strong computer skills and be comfortable working with software platforms such as Microsoft Suite Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Must possess simple math skills to ensure product accuracy Must showcase strong client service skills Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and walking the showroom floor, and working on a computer. Will travel to job sites, as needed. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
