We're looking for a friendly and energetic Customer Sales Representative to join our team in Wilmington, NC. This is primarily a face-to-face sales role — you'll spend most of your time engaging customers in person, recommending products and services, and delivering outstanding service that drives sales and customer satisfaction. About the Role As a Customer Sales Representative, you'll spend most of your time on the floor engaging directly with customers face to face, understanding their needs, and helping them find the right products and solutions. Your ability to connect with people in person is the heart of this role. You'll play a key part in creating a welcoming, customer-first experience while supporting sales, service, and transaction activities when needed. What You'll Do Face-to-Face Customer Service & Sales Greet customers in person and create a welcoming, positive experience Engage customers in meaningful face-to-face conversations to understand their needs and preferences Recommend products and services that best fit customer requirements Provide accurate information regarding products, pricing, promotions, and company policies Assist customers with product comparisons and purchasing decisions Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional in-person service Meet individual and team sales goals while maintaining a customer-first approach Resolve customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently Transaction & Account Support Process purchases and orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) or CRM system Accept cash, credit cards, mobile payments, and other approved payment methods Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company procedures Maintain accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing Promote loyalty programs, memberships, and special offers when applicable Operations & Support Restock merchandise and maintain attractive product displays Ensure products are properly organized, labeled, and priced Keep work and sales areas clean, organized, and customer-ready Assist with promotional displays, seasonal setups, and merchandising initiatives Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management Support overall store operations during busy periods Team Collaboration Work closely with team members and management to achieve sales and service objectives Share customer feedback and suggestions to improve the customer experience Participate in training, coaching, and professional development opportunities Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused workplace culture What We're Looking For Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities Confidence engaging customers in face-to-face conversations Sales-oriented mindset with a passion for helping customers in person Basic cash handling and computer skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in face-to-face sales, customer service, retail sales, cashiering, hospitality, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for motivated candidates.
