For over 40 years, Wagon Wheel Lumber has proudly served Washburn and the surrounding communities as a full-service, employee-owned lumber and hardware company. We provide top-quality building materials, windows, doors, cabinetry, decking, and more for new construction, additions, and remodels. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside/Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping customers find solutions, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Whether assisting contractors, homeowners, or builders, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service and supporting project success from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers in-store, over the phone, and on job sites with product selection and project needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners. Prepare estimates, quotes, and sales orders accurately and efficiently. Coordinate and follow up on orders, deliveries, and special requests. Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing accounts. Stay informed on products, pricing, and industry trends. Collaborate with yard, delivery, and management teams to ensure excellent customer service. Help maintain showroom and sales area organization and appearance. Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.

Qualifications:

Previous sales experience preferred, especially in lumber, hardware, construction, or building materials. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and ability to learn sales/order systems. Knowledge of construction materials and estimating is a plus. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Valid driver's license required.
