Monadnock Media Group is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven salesperson to work with local businesses throughout the Monadnock Region. This role will focus primarily on community-based marketing opportunities, including our local news and information platform, MyKeeneNow.com, along with other special projects and initiatives designed to help local businesses grow. This is a part-time, flexible role where you'll meet with local business owners, introduce marketing opportunities, and help businesses increase their visibility and strengthen their connection to the local community. You don't need to be a digital marketing expert. What matters most is your ability to build relationships, start conversations, and understand what local business owners are trying to accomplish. What You'll Do Reach out to local businesses throughout the Monadnock Region Schedule and conduct brief meetings with business owners and decision-makers Present community-focused marketing and sponsorship opportunities Help businesses increase their local visibility and strengthen their presence in the marketplace Identify opportunities that align with a business's goals and objectives Build long-term relationships with local business owners and community leaders Represent Monadnock Media Group in a professional and positive manner Why This Role Stands Out Flexible schedule•work independently and manage your own time Strong local brands and community connections Meaningful work•help local businesses grow and succeed Commission-based compensation with strong earning potential Opportunity to work on a variety of community-focused projects and initiatives Ongoing support, training, and sales resources provided What We're Looking For Comfortable meeting and building relationships with local business owners Self-motivated and able to work independently Strong communication and listening skills Organized and dependable An interest in local business, community involvement, and relationship building Previous experience in newspaper advertising, local media, magazines, community publications, sponsorship sales, fundraising, chamber of commerce work, direct sales, or customer-facing roles is a strong plus Existing local business relationships are helpful but not required Compensation•
